We are looking for a Mid/Senior Data Scientist to join our team in Pinheiros. The professional will be responsible for transforming data into strategic insights, building predictive models and analytical solutions that drive the business.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement machine learning and artificial intelligence models for process optimization and decision-making.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Create and maintain data pipelines, ensuring the quality and availability of information.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate data solutions.
- Present results and insights clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
- Propose new approaches and tools to enhance the company's analytical capabilities.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of models in production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist (minimum of 3 years for Mid-level, 5+ years for Senior).
- Solid knowledge of Databricks and Python and their data analysis libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/Keras or PyTorch).
- Experience with SQL and relational and non-relational databases.
- Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques (regression, classification, clustering, etc.) and computer vision.
- Data visualization skills (Power BI).
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Good communication and proactivity.
- Experience with cloud environments (Azure) is a plus.
- Knowledge of large-scale data processing (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.
