What does a successful Product Manager for Latin America do at Fiserv?
You will connect the global Vision Next vision to the needs of issuers in Latin America, transforming regional priorities into scalable product capabilities. Vision Next is a cloud-native card processing platform based on AWS, built with event-driven and streaming architecture to support scale, resilience, and continuous evolution. In this position, you will be responsible for a set of product domains, influencing strategic decisions in a global, multicultural, and highly collaborative environment. Your role will be decisive in accelerating the modernization of the issuing and processing portfolio and strengthening the value proposition of Fiserv in the region.
What you will do
- Define and lead the regional strategy for the domains under your responsibility in Vision Next, ensuring adherence to the needs of Latin American markets.
- Represent the Latin American perspective to global product, technology, and architecture teams, translating regional needs into roadmap decisions.
- Influence global priorities to ensure adherence to regulatory, operational, and business requirements of Latin American markets.
- Conduct the discovery process, evaluating customer and country requirements, identifying gaps, classifying demands, and generating well-founded executive recommendations.
- Guide functional and architectural definitions related to the domains under your management, collaborating with technology, architecture, and operations teams.
- Orchestrate discussions regarding integrations, localizations, and configurations, ensuring quality, scalability, and consistency across markets.
- Support go-live preparation, operational readiness, and transfer to continuous operation, in partnership with Product Delivery and operations teams.
- Foster collaboration, alignment, and open communication among multidisciplinary stakeholders, promoting decisions oriented toward problem-solving and collective success.
What you need to have
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, or related fields.
- Solid experience in Product Management in the context of card processing, payment methods, or financial solutions.
- Experience with card issuing and processing products, with a consistent understanding of the financial transactional cycle.
- Proven ability to collaborate and influence without authority in complex, global, and cross-functional environments.
- Ability to conduct discovery, structure requirements, and translate business needs into product decisions.
What would be great to have (Preferred)
- Experience in card processors, fintechs, or acquirers operating in Latin America.
- Knowledge of modern payment platforms, event-driven architecture, and cloud solutions.
- Experience in migration, conversion, and product localization projects for Latin American markets.
- Familiarity with different regulatory contexts in Latin America, including the Central Bank of Brazil, local regulations, and international schemes.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and product management tools.
