In this opportunity, we are looking for a Product Analyst to translate business and user needs into clear, verifiable, and actionable requirements, so that development teams—including the artificial intelligence agent they work with—have precise and sufficient specifications to build the correct solution, without ambiguity or rework.
Connection between business and technical teams: responsible for ensuring that everything decided to be prioritized is documented with the necessary level of detail to be executed without gray areas.
Responsibilities
- Gather business needs with internal stakeholders and, where applicable, with clients, through interviews, workshops, and process analysis.
- Analyze existing business processes (as-is) and propose the desired flow (to-be), identifying friction points, business rules, and exceptions.
- Research and document the specific rules of the foreign trade domain that impact each requirement.
- Write user stories with clear and verifiable acceptance criteria, following the team's standard format.
- Document business rules, edge cases, and input/output data with sufficient detail for a developer or the AI agent to implement without needing to infer or assume.
- Keep functional documentation updated as requirements change.
- Participate in the planning of each story, clarifying developers' doubts about scope and business rules.
- Write instructions and tasks with the necessary level of detail for the AI agent to execute them without ambiguity, as the team works with an autonomous agent.
- Validate, together with the developers, that the deliverable meets the acceptance criteria before closing a story.
- Design and execute acceptance tests.
- Report deviations between what was specified and what was built, and help prioritize their resolution.
- Analyze operational and usage data, when available, to support product decisions and identify improvement opportunities.
- Create simple reports or dashboards to support and evidence analyses, as well as track deliverables.
- Communicate progress and blockers to business stakeholders clearly and regularly.
- Coordinate with the Technical Product Owner on backlog prioritization, without making this decision alone.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Systems/Computer Engineering, International Trade, or related fields.
- At least 2 years of experience in Functional Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar roles, ideally in technology/software companies.
- Experience working in agile development teams (Scrum/Kanban), writing user stories, and collaborating directly with developers.
- SQL at an intermediate level, to autonomously query and analyze data.
- Use of agile management tools (Jira, Confluence, or equivalents).
- Basic knowledge of wireframing tools (Figma, Miro, or similar).
- General understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and concepts of API/integrations, without needing to program.
- Spanish: advanced/fluent level, for constant communication with the team and stakeholders in Argentina.
- Preferred: previous experience in foreign trade, logistics, customs, or regulated industries.
- Highly valued: familiarity with generative AI tools for documenting, analyzing, or writing specifications, as the team develops alongside an autonomous AI agent.
